Reflection of the new knowledge

Hello everyone!

Is always hard to say goodbye, but we are finishing this Bilingual Master and the last challenge is a recap of our knowledge. It is incredible how in few months can someone learn and get in deep in this ICT world. Personally I learnt a lot and I will put in practice few things, if I have to choose one challenge I will say the eProject. Work in group is one of my favourite things, discuss and organize with others is always a challenge, but this time we fit perfectly. One activity that shocked me was the license. How to differentiate what things can you use or which ones not. Is something to think about and something to teach to our future students, that not everything on the net is free. But the challenge that I really had fun was the chocotalk. I think all of us enjoy this activity, because still today we remember it and we laugh about it.

For the last challenge we had to record a video and recap the activities that we made during the year:

So thanks to all my classmates for those moments and teacher @mjgsm to be patient and introduce us in the ICT world. This blog is not going to be closed, I will try to update it with activities or things that I consider important, so keep this blog on favourites and see you in the next post!

Creating a rubric!

Hello everyone!

We are we are in the final stretch of concluding the Bilingual Master, and we can see how is it becoming more difficult. We work with CLIL methodology and in the final lap we are developing our HOTS (High Order Thinking Skills) because we are going to evaluate.

A rubric helps us to evaluate our class and if we give it to our students, they will know which aspects they have to improve.

I used Quickrubric.com because is one of the easiest and cleanest tools to elaborate one. The evaluation I created is composed by the steps that an e-Project has to follow. First as teachers we have to observe how the groups works. Then we are going to know about the e-Project through different places, social networks, posters, videos, etc. Then we are going to glance it, looking if it is interesting or not. After that, if it is interesting, we are going to read it.

I put in practice the rubric and it suits with some of my classmates e-Projects, but I develop as if I were a teacher in a class, so the group work I could not evaluate it because I do not have reference, however they made a great effort and everything is perfectly explained in their blogs.

It is difficult to create an evaluation that fits all the projects, but that is the main goal of this challenge. So that is why we need to do it, because is something that will help us as teachers, and for the students to guide their works.

Hope you like it and feel free to asses me with the rubric!

World Book Day is coming!

This Saturday is the World Book Day and in class we wanted to do a special activity. Our teacher @mjgsm ask us to use Aurasma and record a video or an audio explaining our favourite book, the type of reader we are, etc.

In other post I explained you how to use Aurasma. It is very easy to use and with the QR code that I give you, you can follow my channel and discover what I made.

The trigger image I used is this one:

I took a picture of the book and I use Canva.com to make the poster. Is a really good tool because it allows you to make nice posters in few minutes. It has many resources in spite of lots of them you need to pay.

The video you are going to watch inside the trigger image, was edited with the Wondershare Filmora tool. It is a simple computer program that allows you to edit, insert images or videos, insert music, etc.

For those of you that have problems or you can’t use Aurasma, I upload the video on youtube, so you can watch it here.

In addition, my classmates made their own posters and trigger images using Aurasma, you can watch their fantastic creations in this board on Pinterest.

I hope you enjoy it!

Tutorial about Aurasma

Hi everyone!
In this challenge we had to create a tutorial and as we used Aurasma, we wanted to show you how you can create augmented reality, it is very simple!
To record the tutorial we used Screencast-o-Matic. This program allows you to record your computer screen and voice, so you can explain the process at the same time you do it. Is very simple to use it. Then we also record with our mobile phone a scene and then we edit it with Wondershare Filmora.

Here you have the result!
